Isolation can be deadly. In remote areas, cut off from essential medical supplies, many illnesses can turn fatal. But it doesn’t have to be this way. With your support, we can bridge the gap between isolated communities and the life-saving medicines they so desperately need.

The impact of isolation is so often heart-breaking.

One of those remote areas is Vanga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where essential life saving medicines are in very short supply. Picture a hospital without enough testing kits or medications to treat common yet deadly diseases such as malaria. This is the reality faced by Dr Junior Mudji at Vanga Hospital. Despite his dedication, lives are lost simply due to lack of supplies and its the youngest children who are most affected.

‘The beds are full. But our shelves are empty. Because we are so remote, many medicines never reach us. It breaks my heart that I don’t have medication for my patients.’
