Calling all budding bakers and cake enthusiasts! Here’s your chance to host your own Bake Off and bring hope to isolated people at the same time

Why Bake Off to Take Off?

By taking part in Bake Off to Take Off, you are helping us reach the most isolated people who are in desperate need. Thanks to you, we will be able to continue bringing them help, hope and healing through your fundraising ventures.

We received a medevac request for Lois, who runs a children’s home in Kitgum, in the remote north of Uganda. She had slipped on wet concrete stairs and badly broken her femur. MAF was asked to fly her to Kumi Hospital, which takes just 45 minutes by air compared to roughly 8 hours by road. Lois couldn’t afford the cost of the flight, so MAF covered it. During the journey Lois continually expressed her deep appreciation of MAF and thanked our supporters, whose kind gifts make flights like hers possible. Whatever you’ve got planned, be it tea and cake with friends, or something for your whole community, we’re behind you every step of the way.

We’re pretty sure that most people love a good cuppa and a slice of cake, so we developed Bake Off to Take Off.

Based on the classic coffee morning fundraiser, you can host this event at home, work or church. It’s all about getting people together to enjoy some tasty treats while raising awareness and funds for MAF.
