Originally from South East Queensland, we both sensed a call to mission work from a young age.
Dan studied a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Shannon a Bachelor of Business before completing a year of Bible College. We both sensed that God was calling us to use the skills and qualification He had provided, to serve Him within Papua New Guinea (PNG).
We joined Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship in March 2008. Whilst serving in PNG, Dan fulfilled a number of positions in the organisation including Workshop Manager, Training Co-ordinator, and is also a technician with a particular passion for solar. Shannon worked part-time as the Administrator, as well as taking care of our 3 gorgeous girls.
After leaving CRMF in late 2014, Dan commenced training as an Apprentice Avionics Engineer at the MAF Mareeba heavy maintenance facility in Australia.
We are passionate about the ministry of MAF and have witnessed first-hand the impact MAF has on local communities and churches in remote places. We are taking up this position, with a view to return to an overseas field program in the future.
