About these events

You will hear short presentations from 3 speakers on key topics of interest:

  1. Be Part of Something Bigger - an inspirational talk from a member of staff who has served overseas and who can talk from experience about how MAF is making a significant difference to isolated people.
  2. Life Overseas - your speaker will share a little of their experience about what life overseas is like, the challenges, the delights, the country, the climate, the adjustments, and transitions. A no holds barred upfront insight.
  3. So what does it take and how do I apply? A member of the HR team will outline the recruitment process, the criteria for service and more about the journey to MAF.

There will also be a Q & A session with the panel of speakers to conclude at the end of the presentations.

Come and ask your burning questions:

What’s it like to serve overseas? What happens to families? Is it safe? Where would we live? What does the recruitment journey involve?

Find out more about MAF’s current vacancies for experienced mission pilots, engineers, other aviation support staff and that’s just for starters!

Whether you have just started thinking about service overseas and have some early questions, or you’ve had mission on your mind for a while we would love to see you!

Zoom link details will be sent after 11am the working day before the event.

In conversation with Becky Waterman Event

What is my calling? In Conversation with Becky Waterman - Fri 23 April 2020

Come and hear MAF spouse Becky Waterman live and speaking directly from Uganda. Becky Waterman moved to Uganda with her husband Dave in December of 2017 in their first posting with Mission Aviation Fellowship. Becky is an author and a Bible teacher, and during her time in Uganda has had the opportunity to lead Bible studies, preach in local churches and speak at numerous events and retreats, as well as working on her second novel and enjoying life in a different country and culture. Whenever Becky has spoken to potential MAF spouses, the dominant theme has been what is my calling...what will my role be? Is this my calling as well as my husband or wife? Join us for a wonderful evening.
