MAF partners with Medair to bring life-saving relief and rehabilitation to areas affected by conflict, crisis or natural disaster, working alongside the most vulnerable

Medair's mission is to seek out and serve the forgotten men, women and children who live in remote, isolated or difficult-to-reach areas in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

The NGO was formed when three organisations came together in partnership: Mission Aviation Fellowship, Youth with a Mission, and Medicines for Africa.

'We rely on MAF to take our staff and supplies to people in crisis. Many of these places have no road, or the roads are impossible to travel with enough speed to respond to emergency situations. We're grateful for our long-standing partnership with MAF.'Mark Screeton, Medair Programmes Manager

MAF regularly flies medical teams, Medair personnel and essential supplies to hard-to-access areas in Africa.

Regular MAF flights also assist Medair staff as they support refugees and internally displaced persons by providing medical care and establishing temporary settlements for those forced to flee from violence, conflict or natural disaster.

'Medair's mandate is to bring life-saving relief and rehabilitation in disasters, conflict areas and other crises by working alongside the most vulnerable. For many years, Medair has relied on MAF to support us in this effort. MAF has provided us with essential air transportation. The attitude with which they serve is exemplary - they give us the confidence and capability to work in some very difficult regions. Simply said, without MAF it would have been almost impossible to play a role in improving the lives of vulnerable people in very remote areas.'Randall Zindler, Chief Executive Officer, Medair
