Planes, Churches, and Edinburgh Castle

Planes, Churches, and Edinburgh Castle

We've had our little MAF display plane, a Cessna 152, in Scotland for most of May, and its been a busy few weeks!

We started with a church partnership launch in Drymen Square and worked with Drymen Church to welcome the local community and passing visitors to a host of stalls and fun activities.

The plane then landed at the annual Bearsden Baptist Coffee Morning in aid of MAF, a fantastic event that grows and evolves every year, and is hosted in real style by the hard-working members of Bearsden Baptist.

Finally, our plane took its place in Princess Square Gardens for Heart & Soul, a public celebration that forms part of the Church of Scotland's General Assembly in Edinburgh. We were visited by the newly appointed Moderator, the Rev Dr Russell Bar, who joined us to hear about our work around the world, and to have his photo taken with our little plane!
