Well this is certainly not a challenge for the fainthearted as on 10th September 2016, 11 intrepid MAF supporters will do battle with 960 miles of road … on a push bike!
Cycling from Land’s End to John O’ Groats over 9 days, our amazing MAF team will have to endure pain, tiredness and the great British weather as well as hours upon hours on their bikes. And the reason for this adventure? To raise money for MAF!
Here’s just a few reasons why some of the team have decided to face this challenge head on:
I love cycling and I thought this would be a great challenge, a chance to see a lot of the beauty of the UK and a great way to get fit during all the training. I work for MAF and think it is a brilliant charity, so I'm very happy to do my bit and help support our overseas staff, planes and all the amazing work they do.
Please do pray for us, for safety and good health during the training, and on the Ride. I look forward to giving some of our MAF supporters a wave if we are cycling through their villages and towns. Steve

I have always wanted to cycle Lands End to John O’Groats and this is a great opportunity to raise money for MAF. MAF does a fantastic job flying into remote areas to support communities with practical help and bringing hope into people’s lives.
This is a big challenge for all of us to ride 960 miles in 9 days with over 12,800m of height gain. We know the money raised to keep MAF flying for life will make a big difference to many people’s lives. We need your prayers for strength every day, safety on the roads for all those taking part, and a sense of humour! Alastair

My good friend Stuart visited us about 2 years ago and told me all about ride. I love cycling, especially when the route is point to point. And the idea of embarking on this beautiful journey with my mate was to enticing to refuse! I’m looking forward to spending time with Stuart but Lord – please don’t let it rain..!
I wanted to support MAF because of the wonderful work MAF does and because MAF is a Christian organisation. Dave
A massive thank you to our team of cyclists and if you fancy taking on a challenge for MAF we'd love to hear from you, so please get in touch via email email@example.com
