Work with us

Work with us at Mission Aviation Fellowship

Imagine being part of a worldwide Christian ministry that combines professional aviation services, communication and logistics support to provide practical care and Christian hope to people living in remote and inhospitable places.

MAF's purpose is 'sharing God's love through aviation and technology' and our vision is 'isolated people physically and spiritually transformed in Christ's name'. If you have a desire to use your skills and experience in support of MAF's mission overseas, we would love to explore with you the possibility of service with MAF.

MAF UK recruits staff to work in a variety of roles in MAF programmes overseas, from Pilots and Engineers to Human Resources or Operations Managers. Please see the overseas vacancies page for more details. MAF UK can only recruit those who are based in the UK and who are allowed to work in the UK. Please see our current vacancies page for information on key roles available now.

MAF UK is only able to process applications from UK citizens or those who are legally permitted to live and work in the UK and to travel to and from the UK on work. This means a full passport or visa approving permanent right to live and work in the UK is required. Residency of the UK needs to be current and established as part of the role for overseas staff is fundraising and PR activity and developing a personal supporter network and working with a home Church.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder of all roles overseas to be a committed Christian, able to show agreement with MAF’s statement of belief.

Please see the UK vacancies page for information on any UK office based vacancies.

Based in the seaside town of Folkestone, MAF UK is located just off the attractive Folkestone Leas. With direct access to central London in less than an hour by train, access to continental Europe is even quicker due to the Channel Tunnel - France often being visible across the water. The picturesque white cliffs of Dover are just along the coast, while inland are the rolling hills of the North Downs, the orchards of the Garden of England and the historic city of Canterbury. Warm weather provides plenty of opportunity for the enjoyment of water sports, fun on the beach, country walks or visits to Kent's numerous historic sites. Please see the UK vacancies page for information on any current vacancies.

There is an occupational requirement for MAF UK employees and Volunteers working in the local Christian community to be committed Christians, able to agree to the statement of belief and purpose and vision, and willing to actively support and progress these beliefs and aims through the Christian mission work of MAF. Information on roles available and their recruitment requirements will be made available to candidates.
