The weather forecast was terrible but we escaped most of the rain, although the midges were a bit harder to avoid! The group stayed on the stunning shores of Lock Ness in quirky ‘Hobbits,’ enjoying food and fellowship with instructors from Abernethy Trust who expertly provided all the equipment needed for the challenge.
It was a great opportunity for a special group of people to take up a personal challenge, raise money for MAF and explore what God is saying to them about world mission. Everyone completed the challenge and several of the group talked about their desire to serve with MAF in the future. A great weekend was had by all and plans are already in progress for next year!
I’m really happy to have completed the challenge and I thank MAF for giving me the opportunity. It was awesome.Benjamin Sanchis Belengner
My parents work in Kenya for MAF and so this is close to my heart. I wanted to do something to raise awareness and this was a great way to do that.Johannes Heinonen
