Interim Supporter Relations Manager

We are looking for an experienced manager who has proven ability to lead and manage a team, preferably within a customer relations environment.
The focus of this temporary role is to manage the Supporter Relations function, ensuring the effective and efficient processing of gifts and acknowledgements to supporters, the development of tax efficient giving programmes and processing, and developing the supporter care function within the team. The role will also involve managing projects associated with the improvement of processes within the team.
Delegation will be key to utilising the skills, knowledge and experience of the team already in place. The job holder will also need the ability to communicate at all levels, influence others, motivate and envision team members. They will also need experience of setting and controlling budgets.
Experience of working in a charity or a fundraising organisation would be beneficial.
There is an occupational requirement for applicants to be committed to MAF UK's evangelical Christian beliefs, this is due to the responsibility and influence of the role, both internally and externally. This role is available for a fixed term contract between August 2010 and March 2011. The role is full time and is based in the MAF UK Folkestone office.
