Serving in the UK

Based in the seaside town of Folkestone, MAF UK is located just off the attractive Folkestone Leas. With direct access to central London in less than an hour by train, access to continental Europe is even quicker due to the Channel Tunnel - France often being visible across the water.

The picturesque white cliffs of Dover are just along the coast, while inland are the rolling hills of the North Downs, the orchards of the Garden of England and the historic city of Canterbury. Warm weather provides plenty of opportunity for the enjoyment of water sports, fun on the beach, country walks or visits to Kent's numerous historic sites.

MAF UK can only employ candidates with suitable skills and experience who are currently resident in the UK or ROI and who are legally permitted to live and work permanently in the UK or ROI. There is an occupational requirement for employees to be able to agree to and proactively support MAF's statements of belief, vision, purpose and values, and to take part in the Christian activities of MAF as a Christian mission. Any occupational requirement will be assessed based on the needs of the role. Please request MAF UK's Recruitment and Equal Opportunities Policies if you would like more information.

MAF UK recruits on an ongoing basis for Trustees. From time to time we also recruit for roles based in our UK office. At present we are not actively advertising any roles but we are interested to hear from potential Trustee candidates who would consider this voluntary role. We will also be recruiting for a Marketing & PR Team Leader, a Head of Major Donors, Relationship Managers, and a Donor Development Officer later in 2012.

Please email personnel@maf-uk.org if you would like more information.

MAF UK does not normally appoint agencies to recruit on a sole supplier basis and we carry out our own advertising and selection processes. We are willing to accept applications from candidates submitted by recruitment agencies as part of our recruitment processes. Any agency providing candidates will be asked to ensure they explain the requirements of the role and any occupational requirements if they advertise.
