MAF rescued three severely injured people following a road accident in Madagascar.
The group of people were travelling back from a family camp run by Scripture Union in Antsirabe.
Mary Barber, a missionary working with Scripture Union in Madagascar shares:
'Sadly on the way back to Antananarivo one of the minibuses had a serious accident. It skidded on the road, rolled several times and ended up in a rice field. Everyone was injured and taken back to Antsirabe to hospital.
Mary suggested MAF may be able to help and made contact with our team. 'This proved the best solution as they were able to carry all 3 injured people on stretchers and even had a doctor on board for the flight,' says Mary.
'Within 3 hours they were on their way to Antsirabe and had the injured people back in Antananarivo by midday.
'Sadly, one of the three died but hopefully the other two will make it. Good news is that one of the children injured in the accident has made a full recovery. Please continue to pray for the others to make a good recovery and for our safety on the roads as we travel.'
