This summer has been full of activity for Mission Aviation Fellowship’s operation in Mongolia, with many requests for transport by missions and churches for their outreaches around the country.
In late August, our Millennium Messenger aircraft helped to take 45 Mongolians and Koreans with One Life Church from the capital Ulaanbaatar to run a community support project in Bayankhongor and work with the local churches in the community. Over 400 local people came out to attend the different events.
We all very much thank you for your co-operation, and thank God that all these efforts have come to beautiful fruition.Lim Moo Youl - One Life Church
Lim Moo Youl, pastor and missionary with One Life Church has written to MAF: ‘All our ministries were associated with Word of Salvation Church and other 30 churches from the provinces in Bayankhongor. There was also a special seminar for leaders, and 60 people attended.'
Practical care
‘Many doctors served for 3 days in Shargal Jott and Bayankhongor, and 100 people per day received examination and treatment. Throughout this service, people worked with encouragement and prayer for patients. The hairdressing team also worked well, serving up to 30 customers per day.'
Youth activities
‘The youth ministry team borrowed indoor gym for games, worship, and mission work. About 300 people attended, and there was a special taekwondo demonstration and children worship dance. And after Sunday worship, there was a valuable time of blessing for every little child.
‘There was opening worship for three new churches. And then they visited Shargal Jott and showed performance to encourage churches in that area. The youth ministry team also led an assembly for Bayankhongor youths, and 200 young people came and had a wonderful time. From those people, some helped our service as a teacher for little children.'
Winter hardship
‘And after we finished our service in Bayankhongor, we came back to Ulaanbaatar and had time donating clothes, shoes, and wheelchair to the Red Cross Society. Last winter, so many livestock died and people had suffered by property damage because of cold wave. For these people in Bayankhongor, Suwon Central Church sent goods (clothes, shoes, wheelchair) from the heart, and we delivered it by the Red Cross Society.
‘We praise the Lord of his glorious achievement. Thank you for your good support. God bless you.’
