After devotions we went to my office to scrutinize the work for today then everyone dispersed - some went to Uzunguni (the Slocombe’s home) others to the MAF workshop and I went to Compound B.
Later we realized those at Uzunguni didn’t accomplish as much as planned so I took other personnel to that place and we finished what needed finishing.
That work is completed around 10:00 by which point we’ve missed MAF Chai!
I go to buy pesticides for insects at compound A near it offices and at the gate.
I return to my office and reply some e-mail and send two others instructing certain works.
I go to lunch in the chai room.
Then I go to my co-workers doing different jobs to them so that we can meet our daily goals.
I have time to discuss with two people - one was about water flow during rainy season and another one is about changing the site of the gate so that the veranda can be the best resting place.
After work I go to town collect my wife and go home.

Arrive around 07:30 to work in the facilities department, but first I must go to devotions
08:15 the devotions end I go to see my boss so as to have that day’s report and work requirements. I start by reminding him of yesterday’s unfinished work, which he says he will happily finish. He assigns me another job - to find short circuit at the hangar.
It took me one hour to finish from 09:00 to 10:00 then I leave for chai for 15 minutes.
Once that’s finished I look through my documents to see if everything is on the right track. I found that I need to fix a tube light somewhere so I rush town to get it.
Now it is 12:15 - time for lunch.
After lunch one customer comes – we go to his place and discover the following:-
• One cooker plate was not working and I arrange to work on it the next day
• There was no fire extinguisher – I told my boss - he told me we will fix it the coming day
• The light was not working too
I tried a lot to let the customer know that by tomorrow everything will be done as time was running away with us for today. He agreed. I note down all the work needed for the next day.
It was about 16:30 when I come back to my office and have a glance on my working tools and scrutinize that day’s work.
17:00 I leave for home as my working day is complete. Arriving home I take care of my domestic animals and check their health.

Then we sit down as family planning for tomorrow for our wellbeing.
I finish by saying I like my job especially my field which about electricity and I like to learn more about other fields.
