“We are very dependent on Mission Aviation Fellowship…MAF is our only link to the outside world. There is no other way.”Glenda Giles, Headmistress of Oksapmin High School, Tekin, Papua New Guinea

Mr Ikhtiar Shawon, who overseas Impact Foundation's work in Bangladesh, on the Jibon Tari floating hospital in April 2006 while in Kishorganj district.
The support of MAF is very important. If MAF was not with us, we would not have dared to come to such remote areas. MAF is important to carry the surgeons and sometimes medicines from Dhaka in the quickest time. We are in a very remote area with poor communications so their support is very important. One of our criteria now in selecting a project is whether MAF can land or not. Thank you very much for your support from MAF UK.Mr Ikhtiar Shawon - Impact’s Jibon Tari while in Kishorganj district, Bangladesh

There are great advantages to flying. MAF is the only available flying service. With out it we couldn’t access places... Few villages can be reached in bad conditions. It can take a long time. It is too much to go there by road, visit them and work in one day.Emmanuel Mighay, nurse at Haydom Hospital, Tanzania

MAF is the only source of transport in this part of the country. Without MAF, all our lives would be affected.Pastor Jacob Luiya, local pastor and evangelist at Fuma village, Papua New Guinea

Medair's mandate is to bring life-saving relief and rehabilitation in disasters, conflict areas, and other crises by working alongside the most vulnerable. For many years Medair has relied on MAF to support us in this effort.  MAF has provided us with essential air transportation. The skills of their staff and attitude in which they serve are exemplary -- they give us the confidence and capability to work in some very difficult regions. Simply said, without MAF it would have been difficult to impossible to play a role in improving the lives of vulnerable people in very remote areas.Randall Zindler, the CEO of Medair

MAF has supported us hugely!  We have been very happy with your service.Tearfund Kenya Country Director

The pilots of Mission Aviation Fellowship are professional, congenial, helpful, and lead a prayer before each flight.  They provide a valuable Christian witness and service for Christians and organizations wishing to contact Sudanese in hard to reach places where roads and fuel are almost non-existent.Shawn Tyler – extracted from a report on pastors conference in Nimule, Sudan
