Don't forget East Africa

3 November 2011

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, perhaps better known as William and Kate visited a UNICEF supply centre in Denmark yesterday and urged people not to forget about the tragedy in East Africa. There, they helped pack boxes of supplies which will be sent to help feed malnourished children.

It's been 100 days since the world's worst famine was declared, affecting more than 12 million people.

MAF's twice weekly shuttle flight continues to carry relief personnel to Dadaab refugee camp which has become a temporary home for nearly 1/2 million people. Flights enable workers to travel safely and quickly from Nairobi to Dadaab.

Please keep praying for the people of East Africa. Pray that they will not be forgotten. Pray that food, supplies and medical care will be in abundance and that people will be free to return to their homes safely.
